Perdido Jazz Band pays homage to

(1) the sounds of the low down, the gutbucket, and the barrelhouse-- those old dirty blues,
(2) the dance tunes that were popular 100 years ago,
(3) "sweet" tunes that make the ladies smile,
(4) the early jazz recordings of New Orleans' legends including
Louis Armstrong, Joe Oliver, Kid Ory, Sidney Bechet, Johnny Dodds, and numerous others.
